Ingredients
1 slice white bread
1 egg
3 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Sesame seeds for topping
Syrup for serving
Instructions
1. Press a well into the center of the bread slice and place it in the air fryer.
2. Brush the bread with olive oil.
3. Crack the egg into the well.
4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
5. Air fry at 175°C (350°F) for 7-10 minutes, depending on your desired yolk consistency.
6. Top with sesame seeds and a pinch of salt.
7. Serve warm with a drizzle of syrup.
Notes
For a runnier yolk, check the toast at 7 minutes. For a more set yolk, air fry for up to 10 minutes.
Try using different cheeses or adding a sprinkle of chili flakes for a twist!
This recipe works best with thicker sandwich bread.
