- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Slice the pickles into chips and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Beat the egg in another bowl.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each pickle slice in flour, then egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the coated pickles in a single layer.
- Lightly spray the tops of the pickles with cooking spray.
- Air fry for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
Notes
For best results, ensure the pickles are dry before breading and avoid overcrowding in the air fryer to maintain crispiness.
