  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the creamy peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Press the peanut butter mixture into a greased 8×8 inch dish, spreading it evenly.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable shortening. Melt in microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading evenly.
  5. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Cut into squares and serve.
