Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand, then pack it firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar and the vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating just until incorporated.
- Gently fold in the diced apples, then pour the mixture over the crust in your baking dish.
- Drizzle your caramel sauce on top, swirling through the cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still slightly wobbly.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Cut into bars and serve chilled, drizzled with more caramel if desired.
Notes
For better slicing, use a sharp knife and clean the blade in between cuts. These bars are best enjoyed chilled.
