Ingredients

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • 2 eggs (for the brownie mix)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for the brownie mix)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for the cheesecake layer)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract, sour cream, and one egg, and mix until creamy.
  4. Once the brownie layer has cooled for 10 minutes, pour the cheesecake mixture over it and smooth into an even layer.
  5. Bake for another 25-30 minutes until the cheesecake is set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  6. Let it cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top before slicing to serve.

Notes

Garnish with a sprinkle of sea salt or fresh berries for added flavor and presentation.
