- 1 box of brownie mix
- 2 eggs (for the brownie mix)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for the brownie mix)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for the cheesecake layer)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract, sour cream, and one egg, and mix until creamy.
- Once the brownie layer has cooled for 10 minutes, pour the cheesecake mixture over it and smooth into an even layer.
- Bake for another 25-30 minutes until the cheesecake is set with a slight jiggle in the center.
- Let it cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top before slicing to serve.
Notes
Garnish with a sprinkle of sea salt or fresh berries for added flavor and presentation.
