Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 3 oz dark chocolate (high-quality)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry until it’s about 1/8-inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into large triangles, roughly 4 inches at the base.
- Place a piece of dark chocolate near the base of each triangle.
- Roll each triangle from the base to the tip, tucking in the edges slightly as you go to keep the filling secure.
- Brush the tops of each croissant with egg wash and sprinkle a little sugar for extra sweetness and crunch.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and flaky.
- Let them cool slightly before serving warm and enjoying.
Notes
