- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and ginger until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken, evenly coating each piece.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot, stirring to coat it well with the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
Serve over rice or alongside steamed vegetables. For a kick, add sriracha to the sauce.
