Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges, aiming for uniformity to ensure even cooking.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is well combined and fragrant.
- Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss them to coat evenly with the garlic mixture.
- Spread the wedges out in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they have room to breathe.
- Generously sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the potatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, tossing halfway through, until they are golden brown and crisp.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with parsley if you’re using it, and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crunch, soak the potato wedges in cold water for at least an hour before cooking. Experiment with different seasonings and cheeses for a unique flavor.
