  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all the ingredients meld together.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them evenly spaced on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and olive oil in a small bowl. Add salt to taste.
  6. Serve the meatballs warm alongside a generous bowl of tzatziki sauce for dipping.

Notes

Opt for good quality Greek yogurt for better flavor. These meatballs can be customized with feta cheese or gluten-free options.
