Scale
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all the ingredients meld together.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them evenly spaced on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and olive oil in a small bowl. Add salt to taste.
- Serve the meatballs warm alongside a generous bowl of tzatziki sauce for dipping.
Notes
Opt for good quality Greek yogurt for better flavor. These meatballs can be customized with feta cheese or gluten-free options.
