Delicious and fun grilled cheese roll-ups with a crispy exterior and gooey cheese interior, perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1 cup thinly shredded cheese
  • 6 thinly sliced ham (optional)
  • 2 tbsp of butter

Instructions

  1. Trim the crusts off the bread slices.
  2. Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread gently.
  3. Add cheese on top of the flattened bread, and if desired, a slice of ham.
  4. Roll the bread up tightly, tucking in the ends, and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter to melt.
  6. Place the roll-ups in the pan and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, turning them until golden brown and crunchy.
  7. Remove from the pan, cut in half if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Pair with tomato soup for dipping or a fresh salad. Experiment with different cheese combinations for varied flavors.
