- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- Green candy melts
- Red candy melts
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they resemble fine crumbs.
- Combine the crushed cookies with the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix until well blended.
- Roll the mixture into small balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the truffles for approximately 30 minutes to firm them up.
- Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted green candy, allowing excess to drip off before returning to the baking sheet.
- Melt the red candy melts in a separate bowl and use them to decorate the truffles.
- Allow the truffles to set completely before serving.
Notes
Make sure your cream cheese is softened for easier mixing. These truffles can be made a few days in advance and stored in an airtight container.
