Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Cooked rice or lettuce wraps for serving

Instructions

  2. Carefully add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, mixing well to combine.
  5. Cook until the peppers are tender, roughly 5 minutes more.
  6. Serve the mixture over cooked rice, in crisp lettuce wraps, or use it as a savory taco filling.

Notes

Feel free to mix bell pepper colors for a vibrant presentation. Consider adding soy sauce for extra depth or jalapeños for heat.
