  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider rolls horizontally, keeping them connected at the back.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish, cut side up.
  4. Layer the ham and then the cheese on top of the rolls, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Replace the top half of the rolls over the fillings.
  6. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, stirring in the Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  7. Brush this luscious mixture generously over the top of the slider rolls.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and everything is warmed through.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the top is golden and slightly crispy.
  10. Slice into portions and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
