3 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ cups tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp fresh basil or parsley, chopped
12 oz pasta (penne, spaghetti, or fettuccine)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 5–6 minutes to build flavor.
4. Slowly add the heavy cream, stirring until the sauce turns pink.
5. Mix in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper; stir until melted and thickened.
6. Toss cooked pasta directly into the sauce to coat evenly.
7. Garnish with basil or parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes while sautéing garlic.
Use half-and-half for a lighter version.
Add grilled chicken or shrimp for a protein boost.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container.
