Deliciously creamy and cheesy jalapeno poppers filled with a savory blend of cheeses and bacon, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 12 jalapenos
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temp)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp green onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz bacon (cooked and chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, chopped green onion, cheddar cheese, and cooked bacon until well combined.
  4. Fill each jalapeno half with the creamy mixture.
  5. Arrange the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes until the cheese is golden.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute turkey bacon. To amp up the heat, mix in some spicy pepper jack cheese.
