- 12 jalapenos
- 8 oz cream cheese (room temp)
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 3 Tbsp green onion (chopped)
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 6 oz bacon (cooked and chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, chopped green onion, cheddar cheese, and cooked bacon until well combined.
- Fill each jalapeno half with the creamy mixture.
- Arrange the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes until the cheese is golden.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute turkey bacon. To amp up the heat, mix in some spicy pepper jack cheese.
