- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a melting cheese blend)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 large tortilla wrap
- Optional toppings: 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup salsa, 1/4 cup diced onions, 1/4 cup diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, stirring to break it apart. Drain any excess fat.
- Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and stir in the cooked rice until well combined and heated through.
- Warm the tortilla on a skillet or in the microwave until soft and pliable.
- On the warmed tortilla, layer the beef-rice mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Add optional toppings if desired.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll up tightly from the bottom.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Try using ground turkey or plant-based meat for a healthier option. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
