- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup toasted pecans
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts
Instructions
- In a bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, milk, brown sugar, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed and the oats are coated.
- Cover the bowl or jar tightly and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, give the oats a good stir to blend in the flavors, and top with toasted pecans and walnuts right before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave if desired.
