Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp real butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop the garlic and any other vegetables you’d like to incorporate.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then carefully place them in the skillet. Sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil, stirring gently to combine. Once bubbling, add the egg noodles.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
- Remove the skillet from heat and mix in the remaining butter. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken beforehand. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
