Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until the mixture melts and becomes cohesive and smooth.
  2. Remove the pan from heat and fold in the vanilla extract along with the chopped nuts, if using.
  3. Pour the silky fudge mixture into a greased 8-inch square pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  4. Let the fudge sit at room temperature until set, or refrigerate for quicker cooling.
