  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate this dry mixture into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop dough onto your prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and the centers are slightly underbaked. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
