Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until just al dente, then drain well.
  3. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, seasoning with salt and pepper, and sauté until the beef is cooked through and the onions are translucent.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream with your cheese of choice, stirring until well combined and creamy.
  5. Grease a baking dish and layer half of the cooked noodles at the bottom. Follow with half of the beef mixture, then half of the sour cream and cheese mixture. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbling on the sides. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes
