Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake, allowing enough space to flip them easily.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  7. Remove from the skillet and immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Repeat with remaining batter and serve warm.
