Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the honey, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Coat the chicken pieces with this mixture and transfer to a baking sheet.
- Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- While the chicken bakes, boil a pot of water and cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add cream and milk, warming the mixture. Gradually stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Drain the macaroni and mix it with the cheese sauce, coating all pieces.
- Serve the baked chicken beside a generous helping of creamy mac and cheese.
Notes
For an extra pop of flavor, garnish with freshly chopped parsley or chives. You can also add a drizzle of hot sauce over the chicken for more spice.
