Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar cookie dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Press 1 cup of sugar cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one by one, mixing until fluffy after each addition.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract, sour cream, flour, and salt until well combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and spread evenly.
  7. Crumble the remaining cookie dough on top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the center is set with a slight jiggle.
  9. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

Don’t rush the cooling phase for best texture. Use room temperature ingredients for a smooth batter.
