Delightful taco cups made with crispy wonton wrappers filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheddar cheese — perfect for snacks, appetizers, or light dinners.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, ensuring you break it apart to cook evenly. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning along with a splash of water; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
  4. Lightly spray a cupcake tin with cooking spray.
  5. Place a wonton wrapper in each cup, pressing down firmly to form a cup shape.
  6. Fill each cup with the seasoned ground beef and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving with your choice of toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, brown the beef with diced onions or garlic. Experiment with different cheese blends for varied tastes.
