Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat, stirring frequently until the beef is no longer pink and the onions are tender. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with the cream of mushroom soup, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  5. Layer tater tots over the beef mixture, arranging them evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Notes
