- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, stirring occasionally until cooked through and caramelized. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and mixed vegetables (if using). Season with salt and pepper. Heat until glossy.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- Layer the frozen tater tots over the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until tater tots are golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality ingredients. Allow leftover casserole to cool before storing. Reheat to 165°F (74°C).
