- 8 ounces white chocolate
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Cocoa powder or additional powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the white chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the orange zest and orange extract.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.
- Once firm, form small balls of the truffle mixture.
- Roll each truffle in cocoa powder or powdered sugar to coat.
- Place the finished truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Store leftover truffles in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
