Delightful truffles combining creamy white chocolate with zesty orange for a luxurious treat.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Cocoa powder or additional powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat and add the white chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the orange zest and orange extract.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.
  5. Once firm, form small balls of the truffle mixture.
  6. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder or powdered sugar to coat.
  7. Place the finished truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Store leftover truffles in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
