Scale
- 1 pound steak bites
- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Add the steak bites, seasoning them generously with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and desired doneness is reached.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside, letting it rest.
- In the same skillet, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer while stirring to avoid curdling.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the mixture thickens and turns glossy.
- Prepare the tortellini according to package instructions, then drain.
- Return the cooked tortellini and steak to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
Notes
For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes while sautéing the garlic. Consider using seasonal vegetables or different cheese varieties for customization.
