  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or Swiss)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the torn croissant pieces evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cheese, green onions, and optional meats, along with salt, pepper, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Remove the casserole from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until set and golden brown.
